YARDLEY, PA, Oct. 6, 2010 (Press Release) - POP Displays of Louisville, Kentucky purchased the Advantzware Packaging Software by Advanced Software, Inc of Yardley, PA. The windows based software automates the entire plant and office functions of a box plant including estimating, order processing, inventory, purchasing, plant data collection, scheduling, job costing, accounting and sales service. Optional modules include: e-business software, vendor managed services, cad-cam links, contact marketing, paperless EDI, bar coded inventory control, touch screen technology and hundreds of reports and business documents that may be printed, faxed or emailed The software has many lean manufacturing features such truck load planning, business forms by customer and automatic email alerts saving untold hours each year. Customers and plant personnel receive system generated email alerts for purchase order receipts, manufacturing shortages, order changes, advanced ship notices to improve customer service and save time. Likewise, batch invoicing and batch statements save time and money on postage and improves cash flow. In general, improvements have been made to all modules from estimating, to order and job processing, purchasing, scheduling, data collection and accounting.
