The Neat Company, developers of user-friendly scanning hardware and software solutions, and the Arbor Day Foundation today announced a joint partnership to help reforest our nation's woodlands and to encourage people everywhere to reduce paper consumption.
During the month of April, for every free Taming the Paper Monster e-book that is downloaded on Neato.com. The Neat Company will make a monetary donation for the planting of new trees in designated forests in the United States. The e-book is a helpful get-started guide for small businesses and consumers pursuing a paper-LESS lifestyle. Additionally, anyone who purchases a NeatDesk® or NeatReceipts® unit during Earth Week will receive a free tree, suitable for planting, from the Arbor Day Foundation.

This is the second time that The Neat Company and the Arbor Day Foundation have collaborated over the past few months in efforts to promote the reduction of paper consumption. According to the United States Environmental Protection Agency, the average American uses approximately one 100-foot-tall tree in paper and wood products each year. In this partnership, both companies will work together to replenish our forests while reducing excess use of paper.
