BASF to increase prices for coating additives sold into the US, Canada and Mexico paper markets

CHARLOTTE, NC, June 21, 2011 (Press Release) -

Effective July 1, 2011, or as contracts allow, BASF will increase its prices by 10% for coating additives sold into the paper and paperboard markets in the United States, Canada and Mexico. This includes its Sterocoll®, Calsan®, Curesan® , Polysalt® , Dispex®, and Foambrake® coating additive products.

The price adjustments are necessary due to significantly increased raw material costs.

Sterocoll, Calsan, Curesan, Polysalt, Dispex and Foambrake are registered trademarks of BASF SE.
