BASF to increase wet end paper chemicals prices in North America by 5 to 15 percent

CHARLOTTE, NC, Jan. 4, 2011 (Press Release) - Effective Jan.15, 2011, or as contract terms allow, BASF will increase its prices of sizing chemicals, colorants, and polymers for strength, fixation, and water management, for wet end paper chemicals sold into the North American paper market. The price increases range from five to 15 percent, depending upon the product. This action is necessary to offset raw material cost increases.
