Caraustar tube plant recognized by Eastman Chemical for supplier excellence

ATLANTA, GA, April 20, 2011 (PRNewswire) - Caraustar Industries, Inc.'s Kernersville, NC plant has been recognized by EASTMAN CHEMICAL COMPANY, a global supplier of acetate yarn, and awarded EASTMAN'S SUPPLIER EXCELLENCE AWARD for the year 2010. This is the second consecutive year that Caraustar has received this recognition.

The Kernersville plant supplies yarn tubes to EASTMAN CHEMICAL. The award signifies consistent performance in providing high quality products and working on EASTMAN'S behalf to improve efficiency and competitiveness in today's challenging market.
