Chemtura to raise capacity for calcium sulfonate grease by 40% at Ontario plant to meet demand growth

PHILADELPHIA, May 11, 2011 (Business Wire) - Chemtura Corporation today announced it will increase production capacity for calcium sulfonate grease by 40 percent at its West Hill, Ontario, Canada facility in response to growing demand. The capacity increase is expected to come on stream by the end 2011.

Calcium sulfonate grease is a premium technology of Chemtura's Petroleum Additives business used in wet, high-load, high-temperature applications in the marine, steel, paper, mining, construction, and food industries.
