DuPont sets $500/tonne price increase for titanium dioxide products in Latin America, effective July 1

WILMINGTON, DE, May 13, 2011 (PRNewswire) - Effective July 1, 2011, DuPont Titanium Technologies announces a net price increase of $500 per metric ton (USD), or as permitted by contract, for all DuPont^TM Ti-Pure® titanium dioxide (TiO2) grades sold in Latin America.

DuPont Titanium Technologies is the world's largest manufacturer of titanium dioxide, serving customers globally in the coatings, paper and plastics industries. The company operates plants at DeLisle, Miss.; New Johnsonville, Tenn.; Edge Moor, Del.; Altamira, Mexico; and Kuan Yin, Taiwan; all of which use the chloride manufacturing process.
