Omnova sets paper chemical price increase for all coated markets Feb. 1 on higher raw material costs

FAIRLAWN, OH, Dec. 30, 2010 (Press Release) - OMNOVA Solutions' Paper Chemicals business today announced a price increase of $0.05 per dry pound for all styrene butadiene and styrene butadiene acrylonitrile emulsion polymers. The increase is effective February 1, 2011 for all coated paper and paperboard markets. This increase is necessitated by the continuing escalation in the costs of key raw materials, including acrylonitrile, and structural changes in major monomer pricing, and is in addition to previously announced increases.
