Mississippi River Pulp receives Forest Stewardship Council certification at deinked pulp mill

NATCHEZ, MS, Aug. 15, 2011 (Press Release) - Recycled pulp producer, Mississippi River Pulp, LLC has just received Forest Stewardship Council certification for their deinked pulp production. The mill will be operating under the FSC credit system for recycled fiber.

Mississippi River Pulp produces all grades of white recycled fiber including food grade that meets U.S. purity requirement and has an annual capacity of 120k tons. The mill recovers wastepaper from a variety of sources and through deinking, screening and cleaning processes turns these raw materials into premium white deinked pulp. The mill can accommodate many different grade level needs including tissue/board, printing & writing papers and food/beverage applications.
