Bellmer to modernize PM at Romania's Vrancart for improved quality and capacity

ÖSCHELBRONN, Germany, May 18, 2011 (Press Release) - S.C. Vrancart S.A. was founded in 1977 and has become one of the most important waste-paper based corrugated board manufacturers in Romania. The company also pro-duces hygienic papers.

With a view to improving quality, increasing capacity and, last but not least, domestic and export competitiveness, Vrancart's management embarked on an ambitious modernisation project for its paper machine. The line in question produces fluting and testliner, and Vrancart opted for Bellmer, the paper machine upgrade specialist, to ensure they hit their targets. General manager Dr. Ec. Mihai Botez explained their decision: "Bellmer was selected from a group of 6 European suppliers. Both aspects, i.e. that they were qualified to accomplish what we required from the project, and that their track record backed up their technology, confirmed that Bellmer was the most suitable partner."

The hub of the rebuild is the Bellmer TURBOJetter headbox, which features dilution water control.

Another positive outcome of this modernisation will be a considerable reduction in energy and operational costs.
