Kunert Wellpappe installs new inline-machine at its Bad Neustadt mill

WILDFLECKEN, Germany, Feb. 11, 2011 (Press Release) - The commissioning of the new 3,2 m inline -machine opens new production possibilities concerning the manufacturing of high-quality products for automatic packaging machines

At the turn of the year 2010 / 2011, Kunert Wellpappe Bad Neustadt installs the new inline-machine of Göpfert, in a working width of 3.2 m. The BGM CL 13/32 has three flexo printing units equipped with chambered doctor blade system and quick mounting printing plates, one double slotter consisting of two modules with Extended Slotting, one rotary with Extended Diecutting and quick clamping cylinder, along with a cleaning station. All stations are operating with direct drive, sheet transportation is made by vacuum technology. The machine offers three closures: glueing, taping and stapling.

"With this new inline-machine we can further increase the manufacturing accuracy of production sizes, this way eliminating to a large extent malfunctions of our customers' automatic packaging machines," says Mathias Kunert, Managing Partner of Kunert Wellpappe Bad Neustadt. Moreover, our customers benefit from an even better printing quality, especially in full surface printing. By optimising the oupled transportation and palletising systems, the corrugated board producer additionally improves its process flows: The output rate can be increased to up to 14,000 sheets per hour. "Furthermore we will modernise the glue preparation equipment of our corrugated board plant (WPA)", Kunert continues. "This modernisation provides for higher machine speed and beyond that, further improves the processing reliability of corrugated sheet production."
