Noss to supply fine pulp screen to Fiskeby mill in Sweden

NORRKOPING, Sweden, Nov. 30, 2009 (Press Release) - Noss AB has received an order for a fine screen type PERISCREEN-F from Fiskeby mill, Sweden.

PERISCREEN is a recently developed state-of-the-art pressure screen to be used in practically all types of fine screening and machine screening applications. The first order for a PERISCREEN-F fine screen has now been received from Fiskeby Mill in Norrköping.

Fiskeby is one of Europe's leading manufacturer of packaging board based on first class recycled fiber. Start up for the new system is scheduled for April 2010.

The new screen will be equipped with screen plates with narrow slots for cleaning of the inlet pulp to the fractionation system earlier delivered also by Noss AB. The combination of the hydrocyclone fractionation system and the new fine screen is supposed to give a clean board with high stiffness.
