PAPCEL Litovel wins contract for PM rebuild in Volzhsk, Russia

LITOVEL, Czech Republic, June 30, 2009 (Press Release) - In June 2009 the joint stock company PAPCEL Litovel signed a contract on delivery of a constant part, reconstruction of PM press part, headbox and reel with a customer OAO Mariysky CBK, Volzhsk in Russia. The total amount of the contract is Euro 3 million.

The offer on reconstruction of the paper machine accepts the demand of the investor to complete the paper machine. The aim is to produce fluting, liner of substances 112 - 175 g/m² and to increase the machine capacity to approx. 150 tpd at using the max. PM operating speed 350 m/min.

The delivery follows the successful references from 2003 and 2004. In 2003 the PAPCEL Co. made a reconstruction of the PM press part at the customer´s and delivered a new headbox width 4,620 mm - the widest headbox produced then. In 2004 a new stock preparation line was delivered, which at that time belonged to the biggest delivered machinery (from the perspective of scope) and still belongs to the most important references on the market of Russian Federation.
