PMT Italia to intall two new shoe press units at the beginning of 2010

PINEROLO, Italy, Sept. 23, 2009 (Press Release) - In spite of the current worldwide recession and the subsequent lack of significant investments in the paper industry, PMT Italia have recently been able to gain two different contracts for the installation of two new shoe press units at the very beginning of 2010.

The first installation will occur on the domestic market in a 2.8 m wide core board machine with a maximum speed of 350 m/min.

The second project will see the first installation of a closed shoe press on packaging grades in India and will be part of the press section rebuild of a 4.9 m wide and 600 m/min fast machine, conceived by PMT Italia in cooperation with the Indian paper producing company.

PMT Italia's skills and reputation turned out to be good means of overcoming the recent slump while offering new challenges in new markets.
