Paperchine to supply new headboxes to NewPage Luke, MD, mill

ROCKTON, IL, Dec. 3, 2009 (Press Release) - Paperchine, Inc., Rockton, IL has been selected by Luke Paper Company, a subsidiary of NewPage Corporation, to supply two StableFLO^TM headboxes for its L-8 and L-9 paper machines at the Luke, Maryland facility.

The StableFLO^TM system was custom designed to limit cross-machine variability and improve other sheet properties for NewPage and their customers.

Installation of the L-8 paper machine headbox was completed in late October, 2009. The L-9 machine headbox installation is scheduled for the 1st half of 2010.
