Suzano takes unscheduled downtime for maintenance work at its Mucuri plant in Brazil

SAO PAULO, Feb. 1, 2010 (Press Release) - Suzano Pulp and Paper informs its shareholders and the market that due to technical problems in Line 2 of the Mucuri Unit, the unit's production of market pulp suffered interruptions during January. The total production shortfall resulting from these unscheduled maintenance downtimes is estimated at 42,000 tons.
