Svenska Pappersbruket orders rebuild of PM 9 at Klippan mill in Sweden from Metso Paper

KLIPPAN, Sweden, Oct. 21, 2010 (Press Release) - Svenska Pappersbruket AB has now successfully established their coloured tissue products on the serviette market. The mill has a reliable stable production and is experiencing a strengthening order book with ever increasing demand for its products.

Svenska Pappersbruket announces that they have signed an order with Metso Paper for a rebuild of paper machine no 9.

The investment amounts to approximately Euro 2 million and will take place during the annual summer maintenance stop in 2011.

The investment will further strengthen the mill's position in the market as one of the independent producers of coloured serviette tissue.

The modernisation of the paper machine will increase the capacity with better quality and improve cost efficiencies.

The paper machine will also become more energy efficient in line with the environmental policy of the Company.
