Norkol Converting Corp. has almost doubled its sheeting capacity within eight weeks of installing their second precision MarquipWardUnited sheeter at their Northlake, Ill. facility. The 1650 SheetWizard sheeter is equipped with four roll positions, three pocket slitting and dual phase decurlers to optimize both fine paper and board runs. The effective sheet lengths for the SheetWizard are 16 - 65 inches, optionally 11 - 82 inches (405 - 1650mm, optionally 279 - 2080mm).
"We received bids from 3 manufacturers. After due diligence, we felt that the MarquipWardUnited SheetWizard best served our needs," explained Norkol's President, Michael Maloy. "We were able to see a recently installed machine in operation and our engineering team was impressed with the features of the MarquipWardUnited machine. Another factor in our decision was the availability of U.S.-made parts."
