Bellmer Ibérica to supply headboxes as well as film presses following integration with Spanish specialists

NIEFERN-OSCHELBRONN, Germany, Nov. 17, 2010 (Press Release) - Since 01.07.2010, Bellmer has been present with a subsidiary company on the Iberian Peninsula. At locations in Tolosa and Valladolid we have already more than 20 Spanish colleagues. Without exception, they are all specialists with a long-standing experience gained in the paper industry. They are skilled papermakers or former employees of renowned paper machine builders like Beloit, Enertec or Gorostidi. Unai Galarraga, who had been Bellmer representative through quite a number of years, has assumed his responsibility as managing director.

Bellmer Ibérica's main target markets are Spain, Portugal and South America. Bellmer Ibérica will perform the jobs of consulting, sales, engineering as well as service for customers from these countries. The processing of projects in those customers' native language is a decisive advantage and makes communication much easier. Through the integration of the Spanish specialists into the Bellmer Group, now lamella headboxes as well as film presses can be supplied by Bellmer. All machines and products are manufactured at Bellmer headquarters in Niefern. The young Spanish team have been able to recently book some successes like the order for the rebuild of the paper machine at Papelera de la Alqueria as well as a move-and-modernise project for South America.
