ConAgra awards Wisconsin’s Thilmany Papers for innovative popcorn bag [From the web]

KAUKAUNA, WI, Aug. 16, 2011 (Appleton Post-Crescent ) - Thilmany Papers knows firsthand that paper still has a place in today's fast-paced world.

Representatives from food giant ConAgra visited Thilmany recently to personally thank the workers there for the work they did to make its pop-up popcorn bowl bag a reality. The unique bag is featured in some lines of ConAgra's popular Orville Redenbacher microwave popcorn, which this spring was presented with a 2011 AmeriStar Package Award, sponsored by the Institute of Packaging Professionals.

ConAgra presented Thilmany with a copy of the award it received from the competition.

"The recognition is nice for us," said Russell Wanke, vice president and general manager of Thilmany. "We appreciate that ConAgra is sharing this recognition and we were glad to help them bring this product to market."
