Toscotec to supply tissue rewinder to Nanning Phoenix Pulp and Paper in China

In November 2010 Nanning Phoenix Pulp &Paper Co.Ltd based in Nanning City, Guangxi province, China, one important player in the Chinese Tissue Industry, has signed a contract with the Italian company Toscotec for the supply of a TT WIND-M Tissue rewinder.

Guangxi Nanning Phoenix Pulp and Paper Co. Ltd, established in 1992, now it is one of the largest pulp and tissue paper plant in Guangxi. The total existing production is 150'000 ton of kraft bleached wood pulp and 60'000 ton of tissue paper. Next year the tissue production capacity will be increased of 50%.

The TT WIND-M features 3 unwind stands and a calendar is capable to handle parent roll of 3650 mm width and has a maximum speed of 1500 mpm. The rewinder is equipped with an automatic slitting unit and with an automatic shaft handling system.

The project, defined on a turn key basis, includes all the necessary rewinder auxiliaries as well as the electrification & control system, dust removal system, erection supervision, and commissioning and start-up service.

The new rewinder will be start up in the 3Q of 2011.
