Domtar passes new particulate-emissions test at Kamloops, BC, pulp mill [From the web]

KAMLOOPS, BC, Nov. 3, 2011 (Local News) - It appears Domtar is back on track with efforts to improve air quality, as the pulp mill has passed its quarterly emissions test.

The test results, provided by Domtar to the Ministry of Environment, show the mill discharged 175.8 milligrams of particulate matter per cubic metre during a late-August test.

That amount is less than the 200 milligrams allowed under its permit and an improvement on the near-fail from the previous test.
