Northern Pulp operations down for four days last week to repair a boiler [From the web]

ABERCROMBIE, NS, Aug. 30, 2011 (Local News) - A local pulp mill shut down for four days last week to make repairs to one of its boilers.

Don Breen, vice president of strategic planning and government affairs for Northern Pulp, said a tube leak was discovered in relation to one of the boilers in the plant and a orderly shut down of the plant occurred Wednesday night.

He said the necessary repairs have been made and the plant was up and running again Sunday evening.
