Spain's J. Vilaseca invests Euro 4 million in renewed power co-generation facility

BARCELONA, Oct. 3, 2011 (Press Release) - The manufacturer of specialty papers J. Vilaseca, SA after acquiring 100% stake in its subsidiary Cogeneration J. Vilaseca. S.L, has launched the renewed installation of high efficiency power cogeneration. This is a Solar Turbines Taurus model 65 of 6594 kW equivalent shaft power.

Boasting of its commitment to Environmental Policy, J. Vilaseca, SA has opted for SoLoNOx technology, which is a dry poor premix combustion for NOx control, designed to achieve low NOx and CO without water injection .

The total investment amounted to 4 million €.
