SAULT STE. MARIE, ON, May 31, 2011 (Local News) - The St. Marys Paper Corp. of the future will not be confused with your father's pulp and paper mill.

Glossy value-added supercalander paper, for the catalogue and magazine market, will remain the core business, but a proposed multi-million-dollar co-generation facility will throw open the doors to diversification.

St. Marys Renewable Energy Corp., the energy subsidiary of the Sault Ste. Marie specialty paper mill, is investigating at least seven bio-economy opportunities as the company looks beyond being a traditional single-product mill.
