Statkraft to supply power for Nordic Paper mill in Greåker, Norway

OLSO, Norway, May 3, 2011 (Press Release) - The agreement comprises a total volume of 230 GWh, and secures the power supply for Nordic Paper's paper mill in Greåker in the southeast of Norway. The power agreement runs from 01.06.2011 to 31.12.2018.

Nordic Paper is an energy-intensive company which makes it strategically important to secure the power supply on a long-term basis.

Statkraft is a main energy supplier to the industry, and delivers a volume of more than 20 TWh annually to the Norwegian and Nordic power-intensive industry. These deliveries currently comprise about one third of the Statkraft Group's total energy generation.
