Papelera Amaroz orders new pulping equipment from Voith

HEIDENHEIM, Germany, Dec. 2, 2008 (Press Release) - The new pulping concept, IntensaPulper, from Voith Paper continues to be a success story – with the latest order coming from Papelera Amaroz. The Spanish paper manufacturer intends to use an IntensaPulper IP-V 32 to slush the virgin pulp required at the PM 5 paper machine in its new paper mill near Legorreta. The IP-V 32 is a pulper specially designed for virgin pulp with a daily capacity of 180 tons (oven-dry) and will begin operations in spring 2009.

In terms of energy savings, Voith Paper has once again proven that it's a step ahead of the competition. In the case of the IntensaPulper for the new mill in Legorreta the installed electrical power is a mere 50% compared to competitors concepts.
