Resolute fluff pulp mill in Alabama plans full production by Jan. 25 after market-related outage; future looks encouraging says manager [From the web]

CHILDERSBURG, AL, Jan. 11, 2012 (Local News) - Resolute Forest Products plans to be back to full production Jan. 25.

Richard King, general manager of the Childersburg plant, said a temporary shutdown Dec. 19 was "unfortunately due to challenging market conditions."

Addressing the Childersburg Kiwanis Club at Childersburg High School Tuesday, King said China is a major purchaser of Resolute products. They build their inventory and stop buying to drive prices down.
