GLV Inc. is pleased to announce that its Pulp and Paper Group has recently been awarded several large-scale contracts worth over $33 M, including a major order aimed at providing a U.S. pulp manufacturer with the engineering services and equipment required to implement a new pulp bleaching plant, as part of a major project to modernize and improve the efficiencies at the customer's facility. The new bleach plant is scheduled to be in operation in 2010 and will be the largest plant of its kind in North America. GLV's engineered process will consist of four bleaching stages based on proprietary technologies including Compact Press(R) Bleach Washers with DiFeed(TM). Five Compact Press(R) wash presses along with all of the major process equipment and process system design is to be supplied by the Pulp and Paper Group's technology centre in Karlstad, Sweden. The other major orders recently garnered by the group consist in the design and delivery of BTFTM headboxes, disk filters, wash presses and other equipment to pulp and paper producers located in North America, Australia, Europe and Asia.
