RohmNova sets surcharges for paper emulsions
MOGADORE, OH, May 30, 2008 (Press Release) - RohmNova, a joint venture of Rohm and Haas and OMNOVA Solutions, today announced the implementation of a Monomer and Energy related surcharge which will be applied to all Styrene Butadiene (SB) and Styrene Butadiene Acrylonitrile (SBA) paper emulsions. This surcharge will be adjusted monthly and is required in order to off set unprecedented monomer and energy cost escalation, plus extreme shortage of key raw materials. These increases will be implemented on all list and off-list prices and will be effective on June 1, 2008, or as contracts allow.
