It has been announced that Bolzoni Auramo Ltd and Hans H Meyer Ltd have merged in the U.K. commencing the 1st July 2009.
The new company is called Bolzoni Ltd marketing Bolzoni-Auramo and Meyer products and will be based at the existing site in Warrington.
The extensive range of high quality attachments both from the Bolzoni Auramo catalogue and the Meyer catalogue will be combined to give the best attachment product line in the market today.
"It is important for existing customers to know that they could continue to source equipment which has proved to be so reliable and effective in the past' says Company Director Peter Bradbury. We both have a large number of customers who have remained loyal to the product because of its quality and the service, and back-up we provide", says Ken Smith, MD of Bolzoni Ltd.
He also adds "The prospect of selling all the Bolzoni Auramo and Meyer product range is a salesman's dream".
"We now have the best and most cost effective range of any attachment manufacturer in the market with industry leading technology and quality in every product line" adds Peter.
Abbey Attachments, the service arm of Bolzoni Ltd will continue in that role. Both Ken and Peter see this as an essential and vital role to compliment and encompass all the requirements of the market. Abbey have dealt extensively with both product ranges for many years and have a considerable number of attachments in their rental fleet for immediate hire.
Quality and serviceability over the years have led Abbey to standardise on Bolzoni Auramo and Meyer equipment.
Both Ken and Peter agree that the combined sales team of the new Bolzoni Ltd already have a wide and varied knowledge of applications in the materials handling industry and are commercially experienced to cover all future prospects.
The increased size of the sales force will give greater coverage and additional support for the fork truck industry. The Bolzoni Group have attachment tutorials for sales meetings / open days and exhibitions which are used to provide an informative and educational insight for the trade and end user / customers.
All the staff are looking forward in closely working together to establish the new Bolzoni Ltd as the leading supplier of forklift truck attachments in the U.K.
