Productos Familia hires Voith for quality control

SAO PAULO, May 26, 2008 (RISI) - Voith Paper has signed a contract with Productos Familia in Lasso, Ecuador, involving a quality control system (QCS). Voith Paper Brazil Automation Division will be responsible for supplying the product in August 2008 and provide support on its installation that will be implemented jointly by Brazilian and local technicians.

Productos Familia, 50% owned by Sweden based SCA and 50% owned by Familia Sancela, has a 24,000 tonnes/yr tissue plant in Lasso, Ecuador.
