Progressive Finland embraces renewable energy



RICHMOND, VA ,  (RISI) - Paper makers in Finland embrace the inevitable changes brought on by renewable energy (rather than loathing it as some in North America). Reflecting that progressiveness, the Finnish Forest Industries Federation recently adopted a new logo, adding the internationally recognizable drop-like shape representing liquid energy. The associations previous emblem, which otherwise remains the same, was created in 1981.
