PORTLAND, OR , Feb. 8, 2010 (RISI) - Putting the year 2009 in its historical context with regard to structural panels seems almost contradictory: it was a year of dropping production volumes in both OSB and plywood, but a year of strong improvement in prices. The two forces are related, of course, as functions of a supply/demand formula that has been adjusting dramatically for the last three years.
