Transportation issues, particularly in western Canada, threatened to play a bigger role in North American lumber and panel markets during the week ending March 14, 2014, according to Crow's Weekly Market Report. A trucker strike and mandate from the Canadian government to major Canadian railroads to increase grain shipments forced traders to gauge the impact on markets.
