PORTLAND, OR , Aug. 29, 2013 (RISI) -
WTI crude for October delivery rose $1.09 (1%) to close at $110.10 a barrel in New York yesterday, on concerns that the conflict in Syria will spread and threaten oil supplies from the Middle East. According to Propurchaser.com, gasoline for September delivery closed up 6.04 cents (2%) at $3.0945 per gallon.
In London, Brent crude for October settlement advanced $2.25 (2%) to close at $116.61 a barrel, a 6-month high.
