PORTLAND, OR , April 22, 2014 (RISI) -
Western log prices in March dropped but are still well ahead of prices from a year ago, according to RISI's Log Lines Delivered Log Price Index. The index price for domestic logs fell 3.3% from February, while the export price dropped 1.6%. The domestic log price in March was 10.8% higher than the same month in 2013. The export log price was 12.2% higher year-over-year.
