PORTLAND, OR , March 3, 2011 (RISI) -
Seattle-Snohomish sawmill, known as Sea-Sno, will take two weeks of down time, beginning March 7 and ending March 18. The closure is the result of weak domestic prices and high log costs, according to company officials. The company produces architectural timbers, as well as dimension lumber, in Douglas Fir and Hem-Fir species.
