PORTLAND, OR , May 6, 2014 (RISI) -
U.S. lumber production declined 1.4% through February of this year to 4.95 billion board feet (bbf) compared to 5.02 bbf in the same period in 2013, according to the Western Wood Products Association's Lumber Track. Production in February was 2.33 bbf, a decline of 11.4% from January and 3.6% from February 2013.
