Week quiet, mixed for U.S. dollar



PORTLAND, OR , Sept. 3, 2010 (RISI) - The week was mixed but quietly uneventful for the U.S. dollar. Against seven key global currencies, the dollar firmed slightly against one, was unchanged against three and softened modestly against three others. Most notable of this week's changes involved a weakening of two cents against the New Zealand dollar, which entered the week valued at NZ$1.41 and exits with a value of NZ$1.39.
