Gasoline and diesel prices continue to retreat at the pump



PORTLAND, OR ,  (RISI) - Following a drop of over $0.15 per gallon this week, gasoline pump prices are now very near the $2.00 level once considered impossibly high by most American drivers. According to the Energy Information Administration, the average price for gasoline fell $0.152, to $2.072 per gallon. This is $1.027 per gallon less than its year-ago price and the tenth consecutive week of declines for gasoline.
