Daniel Klein, Chief Executive Officer
Dan Klein brings over twenty years of experience in the information market. Prior to joining RISI and FOEX, Klein spent fifteen years at Forrester Research, Inc. and has held roles in business development, product management, strategy, and consulting.
Matt Graves, Senior Vice President, RISI Indices
Matt Graves leads the RISI and FOEX price reporting businesses, including market reporting and price assessments. Matt has worked for over 15 years at RISI with a focus on the global pulp and paper industry. He works directly with RISI clients globally and travels extensively in the Americas, Europe, and Asia. He has also led a number of consulting engagements with key clients in Europe and Asia. Matt received an MBA from Boston University in 1999.
Jon Rager, Senior Vice President, RISI Analytics
A 20+ year veteran of the forest products industry, Jon leads the Economic Analysis and Mill Intelligence groups. Jon was previously at Pöyry Management Consulting where he managed a technical strategy practice area. He has also worked in the corporate lending sector at GE Capital to provide financing to companies in this industry. Earlier in his career Jon held various process engineering and operations roles with several pulp and paper producers. He has a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering with honors from The Pennsylvania State University.
Tom Bausemer, Chief Revenue Officer
Tom runs global sales for RISI. His 25 years of direct sales, sales management, and business management experience spans across the globe. Tom’s career has been focused on the Market Research, Media, Technology and Professional services industries. Tom brings extensive board level experience for both start-ups and public companies. Bausemer has built several sales, marketing, and consulting / professional services business from the ground up.
Kevin Smith, Chief Technology Officer
Kevin leads RISI’s technology group. Prior to RISI, Kevin’s ran Front Office Application Development for the Royal Bank of Canada Capital Markets as part of the Quantitative Analytics group. Prior to that Kevin worked for Barclays Capital and Microsoft where he played a key role in the development and shipping of the first three versions of BizTalk Server as well as spending time working on the .NET platform. He holds a number of US patents for distributed systems designs.
Christina Zdanis, Vice President, Human Resources
Christina was appointed as V.P. of Human Resources in April 2014 and leads the Global HR team for RISI, including hiring, expanding, supporting and the development of RISI’s global teams. Prior to this appointment she was the Director of Human Resources and has been with RISI for 6 years. Christina has over 13 years of experience in the HR field including Hospitality, Real Estate Investment, Technology and Professional services industries.
Deanna Talbot, Vice President, Marketing
Deanna Talbot leads RISI’s marketing team. In this position, she oversees all marketing, public relations, branding and lead generation for the company. Deanna joined RISI in 2014 as Marketing Manager. Prior, Deanna spent over 8 years at Bluefin Robotics, an underwater robotics engineering firm now owned by General Dynamics. There she led all aspects of marketing as well as contributed to sales and proposal efforts. Deanna holds a BBA in Marketing from the University of Massachusetts.
Keith Cruickshank, Financial Controller
Keith Cruickshank serves as Financial Controller at RISI. He is responsible for finance and accounting and oversees the day-to-day management of all financial matters. Keith has developed a strong background with companies across multiple industries. He brings more than 15 years of financial experience to RISI, along with his extensive experience with process improvements. Keith holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Clemson University and his MBA from Isenberg School of Management from University of Massachusetts – Amherst.
