Beast from the East, Storm Emma leave UK paper sector relatively unscathed

BRUSSELS, March 8, 2018 (RISI) -Last week, the UK was battered by both Storm Emma and a blast of Siberian cold air, the so-called Beast from the East, resulting in snow, high tides and windy conditions. While thousands of trains and flights were cancelled, schools remained closed and thousands of homes were left without power, the country’s paper industry managed to defy the extreme weather conditions.
