China demand pushes up DSOCC pricing for 2nd month as domestic bumps up on West Coast; SOP falls again

NEW YORK, Aug. 9, 2019 (PPI Pulp & Paper Week) -Continued soft domestic demand for US old corrugated containers (OCC) has been somewhat alleviated as movement, while still imperative, was a bit easier in the last month as steady demand for US OCC from China again in July helped to push up pricing on both the US export market and the domestic West Coast region for the bulk grade, according toP&PW's Aug. 5 recovered paper pricing survey.
