China’s specialty paper producer Xianhe makes fresh plans for an IPO

BEIJING, March 30, 2018 (PPI Asia) -Chinese specialty paper producer Xianhe, formerly known as Zhejiang Xianhe Specialty Paper, is going to list an initial public offering (IPO) on the Shanghai stock exchange to help finance expansions in Quzhou city, Zhejiang province.

According to its IPO plan, which was approved by China’s securities regulator, the company aims to raise RMB 809 million ($129 million) by issuing up to 62 million shares for sale.

The money will be used to fund another 50,000 tonnes/yr of specialty paper capacity at its flagship mill in Qujiang District and to build a new 108,000 tonne/yr paper plant ...
