Containerboard: Grupo Gondi to build new 400,000 ton containerboard mill near Monterrey, Mexico

OAKLAND, CA, Oct. 6, 2017 (PPI Pulp & Paper Week) -Grupo Gondi said it will build its new 400,000 tonnes/yr greenfield recycled containerboard mill near Monterrey, Mexico, for startup late in the fourth quarter of 2019, the company announced this week.

It will be built on a 2.5 million ft2site in the Nexxus industrial park in the neighboring industrial suburb of Guadalupe, adjacent to the group's new 516,000 ft2corrugated and high graphics "hybrid" packaging plant.
