Corrugated: IP opened new plant in Mexico that is integrated with board from its US mills
NEW YORK, Feb. 8, 2019 (PPI Pulp & Paper Week) -International Paper (IP) opened a new box plant in Toluca, Mexico, that is to be fully integrated with containerboard from the company's US mills, IP CEO Mark Sutton told analysts last week. Sutton did not identify which US mill or mills supply Toluca.
Contacts said the new plant in Toluca has one corrugator and will supply boxes to major food, hygiene, and personal care industries.
