Eldorado to begin construction of biomass plant besides BEK mill

SAO PAULO, Jan. 29, 2019 (PPI Latin America) -Brazilian pulp producer Eldorado will begin in March construction works for a new biomass plant to be placed besides its Três Lagoas pulp mill, Mato Grosso do Sul state. The company's CCO Rodrigo Libaber confirmed to PPI Latin America that the project received the environmental licence from the environment secretary of Mato Grosso Sul state (Imasul) for the project, which is expected to startup in January 2021.

"We have purchased all main equipment, including turbogenerator, so its official and construction is already approved," the executive commented.
