Fastmarkets RISI Viewpoint: Trade, trade war and GDP growth

The US Census Bureau and the US Bureau of Economic Analysis released the latest figures on US foreign trade on September 4. According to the report, the trade deficit in July 2019 was at $54 billion, down from previous month by 2.6% or $1.5 billion, with exports increasing by 0.6% and imports decreasing by 0.1%.
