Germany’s Zanders seeks 5-8% hike for all grades from January 1

BRUSSELS, Oct. 26, 2017 (PPI Europe) -The German specialty paper producer Zanders has revealed plans to lift prices.

According to the company, prices for all paper grades are to rise by 5-8% for all deliveries from January 1. The move was ascribed to continuously rising raw material costs for both pulp and chemicals.

Zanders is a German manufacturer of high-quality specialty paper and board for labels, packaging and graphical applications. Founded by Johann Wilhelm Zanders in Bergisch Gladbach in 1829, the company still operates the Gohrsmühle paper mill there today with around 500 employees.
